Are terrestrial and semi aquatics plants.Has a single stem with small basal rosettes leaves and a single flower yellow or purple.They have underground traps. Are thin tubes joined in an inverted V shape, with spiral grooves down their lengths that allow the entered of invertebrates.

This plant use sticky ,glandular leaves to trap insects and digest it. Are native from Europe ,North America ,Asia ,South and Central America.
RAFLESSIA ARNOLDI
